During a recent trip to NYC, I had the opportunity to meet several amazing people as a result of social media marketing, public relations & reaching out to others to assist.
I came across a sign at the entrance of the carousel in Central Park which reads in part: "The Renovation of the Carousel Is A Gift... In Return For Many Happy Go-Rounds"
Many Happy Go-Rounds explains so much. Think about it. In life all ofus have ups and downs, going in circles surrounded by others doing the same thing. Sometimes the ride is fast & other times slow.
The point is - continue to ride the carousel. Without taking hold of things, doing things, setting your mind to things & believing in things- one can never experience the Happy Go-Rounds that come with
embracing life as it happens.
As I said in the beginning, I met some pretty amazing people, most of which I had already engaged with via public relations, media & social marketing like: Amilya Antonetti, Amy Palmer, Jennifer Walsh, Mike Michalowicz, Joan Koerber-Walker, Jen Groover, Kathy Partak, Ken Colburn, Eric Keosky-Smith, Judy Goss, Vanessa Alfano and of course Marie Foleo also the very talented & funny Josh Pais .
For those that are reading this in Rhode Island, business owners, entrepreneurs, inventors or whoever you are- it is so important to engage via the social web. Opportunities have opened up to me that I never thought possible- all from embracing this powerful tool called the internet. You can call it social media this year, marketing next, public relations again after that. I call it back to basic relationship building.

I think Rhode Island could sure use her help! Watch out guys- you never know. As a business person- I think it would be the best thing for Ms. Tilton to put her touch on Rhode Island. Lynn- if you are up for this monumental challenge- come on up to little Rhode Island and help save our state by shaking things up a bit.
