Pittsburghers used social networking sites to react to the announcement that Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and his wife of five-years, Erin, are separating. Mayor Ravenstahl informed the public on Monday night in an exclusive interview with KDKA-TV’s Marty Griffin.
"As public people, we recognize that we must share this information. We have strived to work through our challenges and to do so as privately as possible. However, now reaching the decision to formally separate, we felt we should let Pittsburgh know," Ravenstahl said in a press release.
Ravensthal become a popular Twitter topic in the Pittsburgh area on Tuesday following the announcement.
