Facebook has recently been gearing up for a redesign
which is believed to ready integration of FriendFeed
technology into something called "Facebook Lite"
Facebook has probably learned from the backlash of its users - perhaps it redesigned its homepage a little too much, in too little time.
This may be the reason why the popular social media site made no blog post about its recent change to the very top of all Facebook pages, extending the blue and grey bars across the page.
Facebook still changing its looks
A quick writer at Mashable.com also noticed a few changes on Facebook Product Designer Alexandre Roche’s profile showing some odd icons and terminologies.
Due to an accidental leak, Facebook recently prematurely invited some users to their upcoming "Facebook Lite" feature, likely a project of their recent aquisition of FriendFeed, which is essentially a minimalistic stylesheet for Facebook to appear more Twitter-like.
Through the years
I thought I'd use this opportunity to show just how far the Facebook look has come in this brief slideshow, enjoy!
