Welcome to the 'show,' Kitsap Pumas, give us a 'high five.'
The professional soccer club out of Bremerton won their inaugural match in the Premier Development League (PDL) of the United Soccer Leagues (USL) 5-0 over the Spokane Spiders after running away with four second half goals in Post Falls Idaho Saturday night.
The win puts the Pumas in the early lead for a US Open Cup qualification spot.
The Kitsap Sun filed this match report:
One year ago, Tony Kerr played for England in the Beach Soccer World Cup.
Saturday night, Kerr found himself playing pro soccer at a former dog racing track on a rain-soaked field liberally covered with goose droppings and he loved every minute of it.
"We play in that (goose droppings) all the time in England," Kerr said with a smile after his dominant play up front helped the Kitsap Pumas crush Spokane 5-0 at The Greyhound Park.

Kitsap's goals were scored by Kerr, Stephen Phillips (2), Steve Mohn and an own-goal by Spokane. Phillips assisted on the opener by Kerr. Kitsap's Leon Abravanel was red-carded and will miss the next match.
The Pumas are now 1-0-0 in the PDL Northwest Division and will travel to Yakima to play the Reds next Saturday May 9th.
Here's a report posted on the official club website.
