Almost 500 Sounders FC fans will converge on San Jose this weekend (August 2, 12:00 Noon kick off) for Sunday's Sounders - Earthquakes match. I'll be flying down early and extending it into a vacation. So Seattle Soccer Examiner won't be updated much, if at all, until after my San Jose return.
When I get back, though, I'll have road stories, photos, and more. We'll also be checking back in with the Kitsap Pumas and beginning a big series of college coach interviews as that season gets ready to kick off.
In the meantime I thought I'd post some links back to previous stories you might have missed. Now's the time to catch up on them and also catch your breath as the Sounders dive into an August-early September that will see them play eight matches. Don't forget the MLS All Star match, featuring four Sounders on the roster v. Everton, is also on Wednesday night. Visit the MLS All Star Match Center.
