Seattle has its own 'World Cup' and international soccer scene (update)

Seattle's All Nations Cup is a local version of the World Cup we are all watching right now play out in South Africa. We will have more on the tournament soon. (See a 2009 video above that does a really nice job of capturing the event.)

The schedule of ANC matches can be found here. 2010 tournament matches begin Saturday July 17 at 9:00 AM when Japan matches up against Ethiopia. Matches will continue until all champions are crowned by July 31st.

In August the Seattle Somali community will host a tournament, too. A far cry from the horrible happenings in their homeland, area Somalis have proudly hosted local tournaments before.

SomTV.org has uploaded the video below. We hope to get more details as the tournament approaches.

I'm confused. This article says it starts this thursday but the website says the 2010 tournament starts July 17.
The 2009 Tournament started on July 10.
