Redhawks fluff their feathers as they prepare for Gonzaga, Michigan this weekend

The Seattle University Redhawks men's soccer team is hosting the Seattle University Tournament this weekend up on Capitol Hill. Along with the locals the competition with feature the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines and Illinois-Chicago.

The Redhawks will take on Gonzaga on Friday, Sept. 10, at 3:30 p.m. and Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Championship Field.

The early-season schedule for the Redhawks continues to challenge. SeattleU dropped their first two matches of the season in Texas last weekend in hard-fought battles against nationally ranked Tulsa and perennial powerhouse SMU.

Tickets to Redhawks' matches are $6 for adults, $4 for youth (12 and under) and seniors (62 and over).

Washington Youth Soccer Weekend

The Seattle University men's soccer team invites all members of Washington Youth Soccer to Championship Field this weekend as they host the Seattle University Tournament. The Redhawks will take on Gonzaga on Friday, Sept. 10, at 3:30 p.m. and Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 1:30 p.m.

Come out and cheer on the Redhawks as they open up the home half of the 2010 campaign this weekend. Youth 16 and under who attend the game wearing red will be admitted for $1. Parents accompanying their children will also be admitted for $1 if they are wearing red. To take advantage of this offer, please enter through the 13th Avenue entrance into Championship Field.
