Pumas Press Release:
Bremerton, Wash. – The 2009 defending Northwest Division Champion Kitsap Pumas Soccer Club has its 2010 regular-season schedule.
Ticket package choices abound for fans of all shapes, sizes, ages and budgets. And season ticket orders taken before March 31, 2010 can choose between receiving an official Pumas team scarf or a ten-percent discount on full adult season packages.
Kids will benefit the most via the club’s “Youth Pass” – an incredible program that allows children ages 4-12 to attend ALL 2010 Pumas friendly and regular-season matches for only $25.
The club opens its 2010 campaign – and the whole of Northwest Division play - on the road versus a newly revamped Yakima side on May 1. The following weekend the Pumas invade Spokane, then open the season at home versus derby rival Tacoma in the first leg for the “Narrows Bridge Bell” trophy.
Key for fans is that the Pumas’ first four regular-season matches also double as qualifiers for the prestigious U.S. Open Cup – an in-season tournament, which pits any single U.S.-based and sanctioned club against another – regardless of division of play.
“There is no better value than a Pumas match in pro sports in our whole region,” said team owner Robin Waite. “We hope the community realizes the great value we have built into each of these packages and the coming season.”
Last year the Pumas, in the club’s very first season, qualified for the U.S. Open Cup, eventually losing to the Division 1 power Portland Timbers. The match was played before over 2,000 fans at Kitsap’s home stadium, Bremerton Memorial, located at 1500, 13th St., Bremerton, Wash., 98337 (click here for directions: http://kitsapsoccerclub.com/
Prices for 2010 season ticket packages are as follows (Note: 2010 Season Ticket packages guarantee admission to ALL 2010 Pumas regular-season matches and friendlies – for a minimum of 11 matches. U.S. Open Cup and playoff matches are excluded):
- Adult Season Ticket (with scarf – while supplies last): $110.00
- Adult Season Ticket (without scarf – until March 15, 2010): $100.00 (ten-percent discount)
- Full-Season Youth Pass (ages 4-12) – only $25!
- Youth Under Four are always admitted FREE.
Group/Flex Packages, introduced here for the first time, are an incredibly cost-effective solution for businesses, social groups, families, family reunions, parties and more as a means to get out and enjoy a match (Note: Group/Flex Packages constitute a package of individual tickets that may be used all at once, individually or in combinations per regular-season match, excluding U.S. Open Cup and playoff matches):
- 10 Tickets - $90
- 20 Tickets - $170
- 30 or more Tickets - $240

“We have the best fans in the league and I think we have generated a great schedule at a highly affordable price,” said Pumas executive director Ben Pecora. “We studied last season’s schedule and found many things that worked quite well - but we also made some key adjustments that will ensure that everyone will attend a Pumas match in 2010.”
