Bremerton, WA-- The Hellcats, an independent fan / supporters group for the professional Kitsap Pumas Soccer Club, today are proud to reveal their group crest and debut their online store.
Bremerton has a long Naval tradition, and the Hellcats logo is inspired by the Naval fighter planes called Hellcats that were instrumental in American efforts in World War II. Those small, adroit fighters featured the giant star circle insignia with solid bar that acts as the shape for the Hellcats logo. At the center is a snarling Puma in front of a circle proudly displaying the stripes that also make the Pumas uniforms so distinctive.

The logo was designed by the Hellcats as a group effort, with special touches at the end by Hellcat Frank Henderson.
The Hellcats online store at CafePress features many items for sale using the new logo, from shirts to hats to buttons to mugs and more. A percentage of all sales from the store go back to Hellcats projects that support the Pumas.
The Hellcats are being formed out of the energy and excitement of the 2009 season for the defending NW PDL Champion Kitsap Pumas. During the debut year more and more fans stood in the endline bleachers, waved giant checkered blue and white flags, and banged drums and pots and pans in support of the Pumas. Off the pitch fans brought food to player practices, hosted Pumas players in their own homes and took the club into their hearts.
In 2010 the Hellcats invite all Pumas fans to take their support to an even higher level as we plan for away game fan caravans, more noise and color at home matches, more interaction with Pumas players, and fun Hellcats events.
Fans can buy special Hellcats season tickets from the Pumas office or online at Brown Paper Tickets. These unique season passes will feature your own 'passport' into Bremerton Memorial Stadium using your own laminated Hellcats card. Plans are also underway to have your Hellcats season pass act as a discount card at featured supporting local West Sound businesses.
The Hellcats will call the south endline bleachers (closest to the high school) home for 2010 Pumas home matches. Come join the fun in the Hellcats end as we support the Pumas all the way to the National PDL Championship!
The Hellcats will meet before Pumas home matches at Bremerton's Clubhouse Grill & Bar (all ages).
