Today's One Life To Live began with:

Starr is telling Blair about Deanna. Blair gets upset when she hears Deanna stayed with James. Starr thinks she is being paranoid. Blair reinforces what Starr is feeling. Starr tells Blair Deanna is leaving town. Blair tells her to go and talk to James right away. Starr decides to go see Todd instead.

Deanna tells James about Eddie and why he made her break up with him. She is remembering what Eddie did to her. Eddie tells her he knew where her mother was if she would break up with James. She remembers her breaking up with him and Eddie giving her a lead. She tells James the lawyer that Eddie sent her to wanted $20,000 to reveal the whereabouts of her mother. When she confronted Eddie he tells her James took off with his money and  he threatened James. James wants to know why she did not confide in him. She says he was gone before she could tell him. She tells James she still loves him.

Joey and Aubreyare at the hospital talking about Clint when Natalie and Cutter come in. Cutter is jealous of the time Aubrey is spending with her husband.  Cutter tells her Kelly knows about them. He tells her Kelly told him she thinks Aubrey's feelings for Joey will get in their way. Cutter wants to help Clint die. Aubrey says she would never kill anyone but he thinks he could do it alone.

Natalie and Joey sit with Clint wondering where Viki is. Natalie tells Joe about Tess being with Viki. She says Viki was pretending to be Niki. Joey wonders if Viki was pretending to be Niki?  All of a sudden Joey is not so dumb. He figures out Tess wants to use Niki to get Ryder. Joey goes to the custody hearing to stop Niki.

Tess and Ford are waititng in court while Niki visits Echo. Echo is getting a good look at the side of Viki she can not handle.Tess is trying to call her when Ford overhears her say Niki. She admits Niki is back. Ford tells her they could all lose Ryder and yells out we need Niki as Joey and Natalie walk into the courtroom. Joey questions where Niki Smith is?

Echo wants to call Charlie but Niki plays the tape Dorian got from Clint of Echo confessing. They struggle for the tape.(Erika and Kim must be having a ball with this s/l).Just as Echo is about to break a lamp over Niki's head Charlie starts pounding on their love nest door. Echo almost tells Charlie about Niki but is afraid to lose him. He tells her he would never leave her as Niki listens through the door. She walks off in triumph sure she will get her freedom.
