Hip hop choreographer Dan Karaty was a favorite judge and choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance in its early seasons. He has since gone on to work with four international versions of the competition and was the key choreographer and performance stager for America's Got Talent. He's worked with Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Kylie Minogue, and his choreography can be seen in the upcoming film Did You Hear About the Morgans?, starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Unfortunately, his days as a fashion designer were extremely limited. He was the first aspiring fashionista to be eliminated from Bravo's Launch My Line, which pairs professionals in the top of their careers with fashion designers to create a clothing line. The winning contestant's looks will be sold to the general public. The winning designer will receive $50,000.

Dan's line was slated to be urban and edgy, but his signature piece, a black constructed jacket with tuxedo tails, was simply too difficult to pull off in the time allotted. The judges didn't like the material he and his designer selected or the fit. They also felt the skirt the pair came up with was merely an afterthought.

Anyone who watches fashion reality shows knows that fit is everything, and Dan was sent packing.

Launch My Line airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
