Roman Polanski (AP)
On NBC's ‘Jay Leno Show’ Thursday night, former 'Saturday Night Live' cast member, Chris Rock, ridiculed director Roman Polanski, who is fighting extradition to the U.S. from Switzerland for a 1978 statutory rape conviction involving a 13-year-old girl.
Unlike other celebrities who have publicly supported the director, Rock used his gift of humor to express that he believes Polanski should be punished for his crime, no matter how long ago it took place. Of Polanski’s victim, Rock said “Thirteen is thirteen!”

I recall Chris Rock was a full-bore defender of Bill Clinton from any repurcussions regarding his rapes of Juanita Broderick and others. I wonder when and why he changed his mind?
Wow Chris Rock's still got it, funny stuff.
Clinton was charged and convicted of rape? Details please! As for CR: He's right. This was a child who was drugged and raped. He has to answer for his crime.
haha he said "scully"
chris rock a celeb with some respect for the rule of law, thanks man
OK - so let me get this straight.
All of you who have supported Roman Polanski and have basically said what he did was not "rape rape" and he did nothing wrong to the 13 year old girl he had sex with and, he should not be prosecuted - right?
OK - now that we have that straight - I guess (according to you) it's OK to give 13 year old girls alcohol and drugs and have sex with them - right?
Cool - let's start with your daughters!
megapotamus: Because we are talking about child rape here, where there was an admission of guilt and sentencing that was about to be delivered before Polanski fled. Bill Clinton was never charged with a crime and was never even accused until he became president. Huge difference.
I'm not much of a Chris Rock fan, but I will give him props for speaking out against Polanski.
If only some of Hollywood's A list would speak up now.
Before bashing Polanski, his wife was brutally murdered and had his baby torn out of her in wonderful California. Now you want him to share the same jail cell with your favorite criminal Charles Manson. It will cost California another 500 million to prosecute and from lost tourism and trade. Now the arrest warrants for the American Criminal responsible for the genocide of Vietnam, Iraq and Cambodia will be honored just like Polanski's arrest warrant.
When Polanski is brought to justice in America he will spend the rest of his life prison being beaten tortured and probably killed. That is American justice, which is vinditive and full of American hate.
Rock has matured .. hence the more direct response to polanski. And to the knucklehead that whined abotu polanski getting his dues in California prison? if Polanski gets beaten.. he deserves it.
demitri: He drugged and raped a 13 year old girl. (Not had sex with, raped. Drugged her and forced her.) Think about that the next time you want to make excuses for that man. No tragedy, not the Holocaust, not the Manson family, gives license for that kind of evil.
Dmitri--Who is this nefarious American criminal who's managed to commit genocide in Vietnam, Iraq, and Cambodia? Wow. You don't know what you're talking about.
