Before
View the utter devastation in the photo below. Was it a tsunami? An F5 hurricane? A mob of angry Republicans? No! It was seven pounds of enraged rabbit!
Bunny rage. Rabbit wrath. It’s unspeakable in its horror. It’s mind-numbing in its senseless destruction. It’s because dinner was late.

Note culprit in corner
This tragic scene of terror and chaos began one spring evening, when the Ratmaster and I were away running errands. Probably shopping for the freshest locally-grown organic greens for the rabbits. The rabbits, who always have access 24/7 to timothy hay and water, get their dinner salads at 5PM. This day we did not return until 6:30, when we were greeted by this scene of incomprehensible devastation.
You will note in the “before” photo, two bricks and a big rock. These are present to deter the “normal” gentle rearranging of the hutch furniture by the tenants, but on this evening, even the rock and bricks had been flung about as though they were carrot sticks.

Aftermath
Ever wonder why the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland carried that pocket watch? It’s so he could kick Alice’s butt if she was late with his meals.
Don’t let this happen at your house.
Hell hath no fury……(or did they mean “furry”?).

No only informative but funny...good place to go for rabbit information with humor.sj
OH. MY. WORD. Those are some ticked off bunnies. This is yet another example of why bunny fury should not be taken lightly. Let this serve as a warning to all of us.
I had no idea bunnies could be so destructive. Looks like they've been taking lessons from Django, the Giant Puppy.
People think it's funny when I say I have to be home to feed my bunny crew at a certain time!!!!
Thanks for proof of what happens if you don't make it!!
My bunny and I have an arrangement. If I'm home and a little late with the salad he let's me know it's time. He doesn't get destructive unless I'm home and actively neglecting his wants and needs.
If I'm not home he cuts me some slack because he knows I work hard to keep him in the fresh greens.
Heaven help you if the bunny has to go on a diet.
You can see how mad the bun looks in the one picture. We have 3 buns, and have never seen such devastation!
Our wonderful little Rex threw his water dish at us one time when we came home late. The look on my husband's face as he opened the garage door into the house and the water came flying!! Rex never detroyed any thing, so he was allow to run loose all the time, no kennel. AND most of the time would greet us when we came home. This time we were quite late.
Oh too too funny. posted that one too. : )
