Another fun fundraiser from the Buckeye House Rabbit Society
The Buckeye House Rabbit Society has served Ohio since 1997. They are an all-volunteer, federally-recognized, non-profit organization which rescues abandoned rabbits and educates the public about rabbit care. Buckeye HRS has representatives in Athens, Canton, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Toledo, and a growing number of volunteers. You can help in their effort to provide Ohioans with up-to-date information about adopting and caring for indoor companion rabbits: become a member of the Buckeye HRS and/or participate in one of their fun fundraisers.
Buckeye HRS spring raffle
The fourth annual Buckeye HRS springtime raffle offers the following wonderful prizes:
- A beautiful ceramic rabbit from Sedlak Interiors surrounded by Oxbow orchard grass and Oxbow timothy hay cakes. The rabbit is 14 inches long, 5.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall.
- An edible 14-inch basket and edible wicker balls generously donated by Busy Bunny:
- An edible willow toy basket with 5 unpeeled Mini Balls and 5 unpeeled Medium Ballsperfect for bunnies who prefer the bark still on their willow toys. The basket measures 12 x 6.5 by 7 inches. Also included are Oxbow Simple Rewards – 2 each of Lavender-Chamomile Medley & Cranberry-Rosemary Medley.
- The famous "Tunnel Haven," generously donated by Binky Bunny and guaranteed to provide hours of entertainment for both you and your bunnie(s): this amazing cardboard tunnel stretches, twists and turns. It can expand in width and stretch in length (over 5 feet) and simulates a bunny burrow! When playtime is over, it collapses to 7 inches and stores in the Tunnel Tote Bag!
All proceeds go directly to the Buckeye HRS foster program to ensure that needy bunnies have a safe haven until they find their permanent home.
Tickets are $1 each and you may buy as many as you wish. All entries must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2012. Please include your phone number and email (if available) with your check or money order and indicate it's for the raffle. Mail your request to: Buckeye HRS, P.O. Box 5767, Athens, OH 45701.

The lucky winner will be notified before Easter.

Holy cow, look at those ears!! Dancer (pictured) is a gorgeous Palomino/mixed breed bunny available for adoption from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. Dancer is about 2 years old, medium sized (except for those ears) and spayed. Dancer is currently residing at the Rabitat at the Humane Society.
