The Small Business of the Week is a chance for small business owners to express to the Examiner.com readership their passion and dedication they have to their particular industry. Today’s Small Business of the Week is Exit Sports in Atlanta, GA and here is its story from the owner Gerard Brown.
Brown started the business because he has an undeniable passion for sports. Sporting events and sports talk consume the majority of his life, and he wanted to create an online venue for sports affiliates just like himself. His passion stemmed from attending a small school where he played college football which is how he put together every level of sports in one online community.
Exit Sports began officially launched on August 16, 2009 after several months of planning. Our business is different because it's the only social networking website dedicated to sports and sports enthusiast. Exit Sports is the only site where you can blog about NAIA Football and SEC Football all in one place through our established message boards.
In efforts of making Exit Sports a household name to the millions of sports fans across the country and world we will anticipate having over 1,000,000 members within two to five years with a minimum of $50,000 monthly earnings from advertisement spaces. We will be the Facebook and MySpace of sports.
Exit Sports is meeting the needs of sports fans everywhere, even in this tough economy, by creating a brief escape by giving everyone a voice for their favorite sports team. We also meet the networking needs for potential college and professional sports prospects. Our business offers an online community where all sports affiliates can create a member profile and network amongst each other. We also present our members with the most controversial sports headlines where our members can blog in our "War Room" and represent their favorite team or just simply comment on anything of interest.
Exit Sports clients are all sports fans and anyone else affiliated with sports including agents, players, coaches, fans, trainers, and scouts.
