Question: The Expert Office’s, a “Virtual Executive Assistant 2Go” is a virtual back office support system for some of the most influential business owners and CEOs. I also just added a travel coordinator to the team due to popular demand thus, getting more exposure. My company is branching out to more than just being “a Virtual Executive Assistant” to becoming a “Brand”. I feel the pressure of creating a solid logo but from experience, it can either help or hurt the business. I feel it isn’t necessary but with my marketing background, I know it’s important. I’m straddling the fence afraid of over exposure. What do you think? -Gaila Curry The Expert Office's

Shanesia Says: Hi Gaila. I’m ecstatic to hear about your company’s growth. Congratulations!
First of all, I don’t believe in such thing as “overexposure” when it comes to business.  And if there ever was, a logo would hardly be the first thing to ever cause it. A logo plays a very important role in that it serves as the identity of your brand. A company without a logo is like a person without a face. Looking at your logo will give people their first impression about your company, products, or services.

Aside from giving the public an idea about the nature of your business, it also speaks volumes about your commitment to excellence and your dedication to providing high quality products and services. It allows for better brand recognition and awareness. A logo is so important in fact, that your company’s marketing efforts should be centered on it. The goal is to make everyone remember you as soon as they see your logo.

Considering the fact that your company is now branching out to different services, I suggest that you create different logos for each service. This will help both customers and potential customers to tell the difference between each service. Make sure to keep a consistent element in your designs, such as your company colors or perhaps a font style or image, so that each of them could be linked to the same brand.

Lastly, when in doubt, always remember that the most successful brands are recognized through their logos.
