- Dana Baldwin heads up the Honor Bike Run by Native veterans for a Welcome Home for National Guard soldiers returned from a year tour of duty in Kosovo. They took back roads up to San Felipe Travel Center and returned to a pre-arranged meeting place.

- Samuel Jenkins, Matt Jenkin’s father, a World War II veteran, said “I have never experienced in my lifetime the cultural emotion I have felt here today…This lifted the spirit of this whole family, this whole room. I am so overwhelmed."

- Vietnam Veteran Roger Russell (Dakota), leads with his niece Sgt. Dana Baldwin. Russell shared his story how when he was wounded in an ambush he heard a voice, “If you wanna live, get up and walk,” a message for all.
