Chuck's 1955 Chevy makes the Top 5 list partly because he drove it from California to Texas and won the Long Distance Award.
Not only did Chuck drive his 1955 Chevy from California, he also participated in the drag racing event at Lone Star '29'
Chuck took Long Distance by driving his '55 Chevy over 1700 miles getting to Texas from California, drag raced it and took a Gold Certificate in the Show N Shine judging competition at the 29th Annual Lone Star Classic Chevy Convention.

Sonny Poteet from Pearland, Texas battled a tough field of Tri Five Chevys to win the Eliminator 1 Class at the 29th Lone Star Classic Chevy Convention.
