- In the middle of the night you are on duty ! The difference is your constantly being watched, you are caring for someone elses child (ren)
- As a foster parent you are not allowed the privilege of mistakes, even though it may be an accident, in our case they are called ALLEGATIONS.
- An accident can happen to a child anywhere, anytime, but it will be your fault, ALLEGATIONS are made of this kind of situation

Accidents are always your fault.
- Sending your foster child to day care? That day care has to be appproved by your social worker or you are in violation of the reguations
- You are responsible for everything that happens to this child/children while in your care.
- Your job as a foster parent is to preserve the family line for the children you are caring for, in the absence of the biolological parents. Reunification is our goal. Only after all efforts have been made should you even think of adoption and never, never for money. Love the children not the money.
