The freshman Matt Purke finished the season 16-0 with 142 strikeouts in 116.1 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .212 average. Purke was chosen as the Louisville Slugger Freshman Pitcher of the Year, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Freshman Pitcher of the Year, a second team All-American selection and a first team Freshman All-American Selection. His 16 wins are a school record.

- Redshirted junior Steven Maxwell was a key part of the regular season for TCU, finishing 11-2 with a team-leading 2.70 ERA. Maxwell had key victories against Cal State Fullerton, Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston and New Mexico both in the regular season and the Mountain West Conference Tournament. - Sophomore Kyle Winkler was the un-sung hero of the TCU starting pitching staff. He quietly amassed 116.2 innings while going 12-3 with a 3.39 ERA. - Senior Paul Gerrish started seven weekday games for the Frogs to compile 50.1 innings in 19 total appearances and played solidly out of the TCU bullpen with 42 strikeouts and started the 3/23 shutout against Texas State. - Tyler Lockwood was TCU's main closer, going 6-2 and earning eight saves -- five of which came in post-season play. Lockwood appeared 28 times on the season, pitching 65.2 innings with a 2.19 ERA with 41 strikeouts. - Senior catcher Bryan Holaday was the team's vocal leader and "Iron Man," starting all 68 games. Holaday set a school record for hits (99, which was duplicated this season by Coats) and total bases (176) while also leading the team in runs (72). - Senior first baseman Matt Curry was a powerhouse for TCU, leading the team with 18 homers, 26 doubles, .677 slugging, a .460 OBP, 57 walks, 12 steals and set the team record for games played (68 with Holaday) doubles and walks. Curry's grand slam against Florida St. (pictured) proved to be one of the biggest hits of the season and he was drafted in the 16th round of the MLB Player Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. - Sophomore center fielder/third baseman Aaron Schultz jumped into a regular starting role early in the year and did not disappoint. Schultz led the team in sacrifice bunts (12) and sacrifice flies (6) while batting .293 with nine home runs and 11 steals. - Redshirted freshman third baseman/shortstop Jantzen Witte began his TCU career in style by leading the team in batting average at .374. He also contributed a .425 OBP, .552 slugging, 32 runs, four homers, 39 runs batted in and 15 doubles. One of those four homers came against Florida State in the College World Series (pictured). - Freshman right fielder/designated hitter Josh Elander split time with Rivera in right field to the tune of a .356 average, a .438 OBP, 69 hits, 11 steals, four triples, 16 doubles and 41 runs. - Sophomore shortstop Taylor Featherston was one of the defensive cornerstones for TCU. He wielded a strong bat too by leading the team with seven triples and hitting .338 with eight home runs, 52 runs batted in, a .571 slugging percentage, a .420 OBP, 69 hits, 59 runs and 16 doubles. - Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle (pictured with his son Jackson Lambert) took his second team to Omaha. The 2010 season improved Schloss' career record to 305-134 in seven seasons at TCU and 381-181 in nine overall seasons.
