Margarito train hard but nothing can do to the hand speed Paquaio...
don't be too sure. as i said, if the fight is a mismatch, size would always matter despite the speed advantage. because size is equated to power. margarito's sheer size and big punching power may slow down the pacman. pacquiao slows down a bit when the opponent is a lot bigger than him.
i think pac need a little more increase in weight because speed alone will not win the fight, so as to ensure he can at least hurt margo to slow margo down (if not, it would be a long night for pacman because margo punches in 6-8 combination punches whereas pac only 3.-5. he wasn't able to hurt clottey because of clottey's size.
As a vivid follower of boxing, the following are my amateur observation and analysis of the upcoming championship fight between Pacquiao and Margarito: As already reported by many boxing scribes, not only Margarito is taller, bigger, stronger, well trained, well prepared for this championship fight than Pacquiao, but he's also hungrier and highly motivated to redeem himself that he can beat the best in boxing without cheating and he's very determined to be the first Mexican boxer to score a knockout against the only Mexicutioner alive in front of thousands and thousands of live Mexican audience on Nov. 13, 2010. Conversely, Pacquiao has many interruptions on his training regiments, especially in the areas of improving stamina, in case the fight will last for 12 rounds, i.e. playing basketball in lieu of jogging/running, so far only sparred 9 rounds instead of 12, shortened daily training to attend congressional meeting and social events, skipped few days of training due to flu and sprained ankle and sore shoulder, congressional issues and the possibility of being knockout by Margo due to lack of training and preparation seems to affect his ability to focus on winning this fight. Although, he had similar adversities in his previous championship fights and still came out a winner, but this time around, it's entirely different situation, coz he's not well trained, well prepared, and he's fighting a bigger and stronger opponent in higher weight class, plus his opponent has the proven ability to precisely deliver power punches to various targets, especially into the liver area on the stomach, the jaw and temple and with Margos' strenght and power hitting accurately to those areas, it's more likely that Pacquaio will hit and kiss the canvass. Although, Margarito has all the advantages going into this fight, I still predict that pacquiao will knock him out on the 7th, but if he fails to knock Margo out in 7th, Margo will knock him out in later rounds or Margo will win by unanimous decision convincingly, mainly because Pacquiao will run out of gas at the later rounds and will absorb tremendous punishment by the Tijuana Tornado.
True, Margo can not be counted out, he's still a very dangerous opponent compared to Pacquiaos' previous opponents that he had beaten badly. Margo is an opponent with a stronger force and boxing ability to be reckoned with. However, although, Margo has the obvious physical advantages going into this mega fight, but he also have weaknesses that Pacquiao can exploit to win the fight. His slow forward approach when delivering power punches can be countered by Pacquiaos' fast side to side punches delivered to target in bunches coming from all angles and this maybe the ultimate difference between winning and loosing, but the tangibles that everyone can not ignore is the fact that Margo is highly motivated to score a big win against the Mexicutioner in front of thousands of live Mexicans audience in Dallas Cowboys Footbal Stadium on November 13, 2010 and coupled this with Pacquiaos' insufficient training and preparation due to injuries and personal disruptions could be the big difference for Margarito to stand tall with referee raising his hand as the winner. Although, Margarito seems to have all the advantages going into this fight, I still pick Pacquiao to win by knockout in 7th round; however, if he fails to knock him out in 7th, Margarito can perhaps knock Pacquiao out in later rounds or can win by a convincing decision mainly because Pacquiao will run out of gas in the later rounds due to lack of training and preparation and being smaller among the two pugilist. At this stage, no one knows in definite terms that the congressman is an absolute winner, but the odds are in his big favor to come out as the winner, but as the saying goes, "game ain't over yet 'till the fat lady sing". Again, Pacman by TKO in 7th.
Pacquiao was not able to hurt Clottey not because of his size but because Clottey decided to hide in his shell the entire fight. But note in the early rounds of that fight when Clottey tried to open up a bit to trade punches, he was caught by Pacman which really shook him up. But after that, Clottey took the safe zone and hide like a turtle.
PACQUIAO, THE CHOSEN ONE
Even though Margarito will octuple his preparation in his coming fight with Pacquiao, he will never defeat Pacquiao. After the fight, Margarito will then say that he had lost his strength, power and speed during the fight; that is the time Margarito will admit that Pacquiao has been willed by God to be the greatest boxer the world will ever have. Nobody in this world in Pacquiao’s future fights will be able to defeat him. You Margarito, the more you are arrogant, the more you will be knockout by Pacquiao in the early rounds.
test
If he is strong than most of his fans are saying, why he was caught putting palster in his wraps before? thus by common sense he is not confident of his own power.

it'll take more than a six-pac to beat the pac-man
He already has eight packs!
I want pacman to punish margo with some heavy body shot during the opening rounds and finish margo with a blinding speed left hook right at the chin.
yap and their is bad news for the margarito camp, the pacman has already gained his speed and power....tsk3x

psst.... foul... discriminatory! you will be flagged!
I voted recently to a kind of poll about ranking this fight to be the same as Pacquiao-DelaHoya fight. But now I am leaning to another result, I think this might be another Clotteys fight. I´m basing my assumption to the recent video of these two boxers. Honestly I want, Pacquiao dominates Margarito, no reason for him to comeback for this sport.
hahah! you haven't seen margo in the training camp yet. don't be too sure or you might just eat your words.
I warned my son not to go to Baguio. There are too many sh*t-head Ilocanos up there.

I don't think "bad mouthing" between Pilipinos will make you much better than the other one. And secondly, look for something that will keep you busy instead of trying to entertain others problem that you cannot even solve your own .Open your eyes guys!
MARGARITO IS CHEATING AGAIN. I DETECT PLASTER O'PARIS INJECTED BETWEEN HIS ABDOMEN!!!
HAHA

walang mudos talaga ang ibang kababayan, hanggang rito ipinakita ang tunay nilang pagkatao, siguro sa personal walamg makain dahil tamad, ah gutom lang seguro...
WHAT!? Marga still wears that illegal substance during training? just look at the handwraps on the 1st picture...He's already training for that at this early stage?...Pacman Beware!!!!
even if the GOD-fearing Pacquiao weighs in at 150 lbs at the fight night, Margarito would be in danger in a toe to toe batlle with the Pacman. Surely Pacquiao's speed and power is too much for Margarito to resist. Margarito's ass wolud kiss the canvas for sure. The Pacquiao is destined for greatness. and no one could ever thwart it as what i've been saying since the Pacquiao is a featherwieght champion.
We love You Manny Pacquiao, ...... very much !!! very much !!! very much !!!
Manny usually speeds up when his opponent is bigger, De la hoya , Larios, Solis, Velasquez, Clottey. In fact taller n heavier guys have a hard time hitting Manny. I think it will take a big guy that has Manny's speed n power. to intimidate him. Manny can hurt you from all kinds of angles. Manny doesn't have to get set to get maximum leverage from his punches. As I predicted, it's gonna be a war! Once Manny adjust to margo's style, margo will have a hard time finding Manny. Mannys 1st knockdown of margo is in the 9th. Manny will k.o. margo in the 11th. But it ain't gonna be easy...
