Located on the north side of the stadium on the Club level, the Founder's Club serves as a tribute to Lamar Hunt and offers an upscale sports bar environment with outside patio and fireside lounge seating and views of both Founder's Plaza and the playing field.

Another one of the special areas on the lower-level concourse is a tribute to high school football in the states of Missouri and Kansas. This display wall features Kansas state football champions for 2009.
A new media deck has been added atop the south stands, accommodating 100 additional work spaces for the writing press as well as radio booths. Below the media deck is the new Horizon level, with additional concessions, restrooms and a 300 percent increase in ADA seating.
Two large HD video boards are located at both ends of the field. The size of the two video boards combined are the equivalent of 2, 149 32-inch television screens.
A rendering by the architecture firm Populous of what the new Chiefs Hall of Honor on the stadium's lower-level concourse will look like when completed.
