- Snow cones were free this year. How's that for beating the heat? These kids had the right idea.
- Got to meet Theotis Beasley and, obviously, had my photo taken. He even signed my board. Good stuff.
- This was the side of the Skullcandy booth where you could go inside, get free drinks and listen to a short video of Theotis Beasley.
- Curren Caples, probably my favorite skater, doing his thing. He got some nice air. A shame he didn't make it to first place. This kids good.
- Skaters in the Phoenix AM competing to make it to the finals.
- This is the Sector 9 van. You could win free wheels at the low low cost of getting a mohawk or going bald. Or you could play skate next to the van. Your choice.
- The lines were wonderful. Not sure why they were so short but the waits were entirely reasonable and you never felt like you were going to suffocate.
- Another skater in the Phoenix AM hoping to place to the finals. He may or may not have placed but the crowd was happy all the same.
