- Seconds before he collapses on the ice, he's ready to make a save.
- Before he motions to his bench and collapses to the Philips Arena ice surface.
- The training staff attends to Pavelec.
- While his teammates watch in a silent Philips Arena. He is taken off the ice in a stretcher, still unconscious to a local hospital.
- After a 20 minute delay, hockey resumes in Atlanta and Washington's Brooks Laich nets a goal on Atlanta's Chris Mason.
- But Evander Kane ties it before the first period is over and the Thrashers learn that Pavelec is OK during the intermission.
- Atlanta scores three more times, including a tally by newcomer Fredrik Modin.
- Mason and the Thrashers celebrate the win and Pavelec's return to health. Pavelec is alert and awake and asking about the score of the game at the hospital.
- And Atanta's mascot Thrash taunts Alex Ovechkin.
