Don't forget to bow to the king if you hook a tarpon. Tarpon should be tagged using a DNA sampling kit from FWC.
Handle the kingfish with caution. They have really sharp teeth.
You better hope your tackle holds up if you catch a big ocean jack. Notice the beach in the background. All the fish in this slide show were caught very close to the beach.
Slow trolling the nearshore Atlantic will often catch sharks when other species are targeted. Be prepared to deal with them.
