- An armada of eggboats, ready to set sail.
- After the eggs have been cooled, crack them and peel them. The shells should come off easily, but you may lose just a little.
- Peeling eggs is something everybody likes to do.
- And it's so easy a bug can do it!
- Scoop out the yolks and put them in a bowl.
- With a spoon or fork, mash the egg yolks into little pieces.
- Add some mayo or salad dressing to the yolks. Squeeze bottles make it easier, but you can just spoon it in too.
- Squeeze some mustard into the yolk mixture.
- Carefully spoon the yolk mixture back into the eggs.
- Hint -- it goes faster with older kids doing it!
- Cut the cheese slices into 4 pieces, corner to corner.
- Victoria and her eggboat. She put the toothpick through the sail to fasten it securely.
- Jack's creation. He just put the toothpick into the yolk and leaned the sail against it.
- Anna's boat, as pretty as she is!
