- This girl robot was made from an oatmeal container and cardboard tubes. The valentines can be retrieved by removing the lid.
- This silver robot was made from a tea box glued to the top of a mailing box.
- Spray paint the boxes silver or gold in a well-ventilated area.
- Cut tabs in the cardboard tubes to make it easier to glue them to the robot body.
- Odds and ends are used to decorate the robot. The ears are made of checkers and the hat is made from a broken toy. The face is made with heart stickers and googly eyes.
- The girl robot was painted gold and decorated with leftover craft supplies. An old doll crown was glued to the head.
- The finished product is an exciting St. Valentine's Day mail box that kids can be proud to show off.
