- We're making four pies today.
- This pie crust is in a 9-inch aluminum pie pan. It doesn't hold all the filling in the recipe. Either make two short pies, or make one large 10-inch deep dish pie. Pie crust with high fluted sides work best.
- This is another pie crust in a 10-inch deep sided stoneware pie dish. It's perfect for holding all this filling.
- This is what the Kentucky Derby Pie looked coming out of the oven. Just drizzle chocolate ganache over the top or some chocolate syrup to dress it up.
