This fake Doritos coupon caused massive headaches for retailers and shoppers last year. Many new printable coupons now have not one but two barcodes to make them more tamper-resistant as a result.
If a coupon seems to good to be true, it probably is. This coupon for $2 off any Beech-Nut product raised eyebrows right away, probably because most Beech-Nut baby food costs a dollar or less each.
Some grocery stores no longer accept printable coupons at all due to coupon fraud losses. Here in San Antonio, most stores will still take your printables -- but only if they scan, and if they're not for a completely free product.
