- Choose craft foam in green for making leaves, plus two contrasting colors to use for the petal portion of the flowers.
- Use a marker to draw flower and leaf shapes on the foam. They can be drawn free-hand or a stencil can be used. For each magnet, you will need one large and one small flower in different colors, plus one large leaf or two small leaves.
- Cut out the shapes. The marker guide lines will be visible, so that will be the back side of the flower.
- On the front of each piece, use a marker to draw a dashed line to represent stitches around the outside edge.
- Glue the foam pieces together. Place a small flower on top of a large flower and glue leaves to the back side. Finish flowers by adding a bead or button to the center of each.
- The flowers will be attached to magnets. These magnets were 12 for $1 at Dollar Tree. They could be stripped of their existing decorations, but for this project, I chose to leave them as-is.
- Glue a magnet to the back of each flower.
- Once the glue has dried, the magnets are complete and ready to make your kitchen feel more like spring!
