- Using a sharp knife, cut a cone-shaped core out of the center of each cupcake.
- Pull out the cone from the center.
- Cut off the bottom of each cone. Reserve this part of the cake by setting it aside on a plate until later use.
- Put the filling in a pastry bag or a baggie with the corner snipped off, and squirt the filling into the middle of each cupcake. Top the filling with the reserved cake piece.
- Frost the cupcakes. The frosting completely covers the area that was replaced over the filling!
