- Any type of silicone cake pan can be used in this project.
- The melt and pour soap base is chopped into cubes and covered with plastic wrap, then microwaved to melt it.
- These adorable Easter cutters with comfy grip tops are made by Wilton, but any type of cookie cutters will work.
- Here, the melt and pour soap has been melted and is ready to color and fragrance.
- Liquid soap colorant and fragrance oil are added, then stirred in thoroughly.
- The cookie cutters are carefully placed into the pan, then the soap is allowed to cool and harden.
- The silicone pan makes it a snap to remove the block of soap with its embedded cookie cutters.
- This is what the block of soap looks like after is removed from the pan.
- The outlines of the bottom of the cookie cutters are visible from the back side of the soap block.
- Excess soap is carefully removed from around and between the cookie cutters.
- Each of the cutters has the excess soap carefully trimmed and pulled away from it.
- This is what the cutters look like after all of the excess soap is removed.
- Be sure to save these scraps! They can be used in other projects.
- Flexing the sides of the cutters allows the soap to be removed.
- Here are the finished soaps.
