This gorgeous picture frame and mirror used to be plain and boring. The finished products cost about $2 each to make.

- These flat glass stones are perfect for decorating many things. When gluing them down, be sure to use a clear-drying glue that is strong enough to hold them in place. I use Mod Podge.
- Clear glass stones can be decorated by attaching colored paper face-down on the flat side of the stone. Use decoupage glue to secure the paper in place. These were decorated using clippings from old magazines. You could also use paper left over from scrapbooking or other papercraft projects.
- Start with a plain picture frame or mirror. Look for one with a flat surface so it will be easy to glue on your flat glass stones. Try to find a frame that is close to the same width as the glass stones.
- Start gluing stones at the corners of the frame.
- Continue gluing glass stones around the perimeter, putting the stones as close together as possible while still spacing them evenly.
- The project is completely customizable and can be made to match any colors or theme. They also make great gifts!
