Cup O' Joe is between the Book Loft to the south and a dentist's office to the north, and it's also near the Qwirk co-working offices. Would the shelter remove the street parking in front of Cup O' Joe?
The Book Loft is against the building of the shelter at this location. Carl Jacobsma, co-owner: “First of all, it will inhibit people’s view. I think it degrades the look of the front of the businesses down here.”
Current location of bike parking to the north of Cup O' Joe (in front of their patio). There's adequate room for a 10-bike shelter, but it still would affect street parking, a frequent no-no for business owners.
