Pianist Ben Darwish (pictured here) and Commotion make up Portland’s funky, 10-piece dance band, known for livening up music with unusual Afrobeat tributes, like their most famous one to Michael Jackson.
Portlanders recognize Jujuba by the 11-piece Afrobeat style that combines funk and Nigerian juju, and a slamming horn section.
