Manual steering adapters for PS drag links introduce play and wear quickly. For performance applications, use an OE manual drag link and pitman arm.
The fit is tight, but after opening up the opening in the firewall, it goes right in. However, the factory firewall seal will no longer work.
The rag joint now sits inside the firewall, so the flush mounted seal will not work. I used an old Hurst Shifter Super Boot clamped to the column, sealed and screwed to the firewall.
