WHY SO SERIOUS!?!
So, I bouth the game.....and i still dont understand....The gatherers....is it the Brutes and Grunts, or is wihelm and his crew the gatherers? and wats the diffrence between Grunts and Brutes? Ive met them both and i luckly never got caught, so i hav no idea wat the diffrence was
Really, the most important thing to know about any of the monsters in Amnesia: The Dark Descent is this: *run like hell and hide*
Brutes kill you faster, thats about the only difference.
i have heard about there being a 3rd monser/ gatherer, that is very rare. he is said to have a cogg wheel around his neck and is mostly seen in the machine room of the castle. i have seen fanart of him, and im just not sure if that has made him "real"...does he actually exist?
I don't think he exists, all monsters are scripted, and usually in places like machine-rooms theres no monsters around; so no Mr. Cog.
It could, however, be an early concept that got scrapped? However, i have never heard of such a monster and it's probably a fan-made device.

So, I've been playing this game for awhile now, and so far I have not encountered any of those, and luckily for me, I've been hiding once I hear the faint growls of the monsters. I really hope as I get closer to the end of the game that I don't meet up with one of those monsters. Too scary.
