Wow, all my favorite condiments. I have several foods I cannot eat without either salsa or Tabasco sauce including steamed spinach and cottage cheese.
I use a combination of pureed cottage cheese and plain yogurt to substitute for mayonnaise in recipes and for sour cream in dips and creamy sauces. A spicy hummus adds protein and staying power to a veggie pita sandwich.
The only thing on your list I have not had is Greek yogurt except as a base Greek sauces. Must try that.
Even a few drops of lemon or like can make food taste fresher and give it a nice zip.
What a great article, Elizabeth. I hope everyone who is trying to count calories reads it.
delicious
I used to add Tabasco to my food. Got lots of problems with my stomach. Will never try again.
