Sonny, you might pass me on that rice rocket of yours but I don't have to go around with my rear end up in the air, making half the guys who ever did time want to go home and bother their wives. My bike may be a soft tail but it ain't a sore tail.
This is not a "new line" - this is a re-plastication of the last 10 years. Wake up, HD! Your user base is eroding - 50-somethings can't continue to buy $35K monsters, and the used market is overflowing with un-inspired do-overs. Let's see somethign NEW that shows that the US can still compete. Kind of looks like torching Buell was a dumb-ass idea, don't it?
Yes, I think that the designs are not that classy. After looking at these designs, I would say that bullet has better versions. I mean, if I don't want a sports bike model, then for sure I will be looking for a classy metal like bike (something like the Bullet Classic 350).
I rode my "couch" 8268 comfortable miles in 53 days on a cross country trip this year. The look is stale but the comfortable ride is right where it needs to be.
They all look the same to me from year to year. I like my Triumph Rocket III. It is smooth, quiet, powerful and dependable and it doesn't look like any other bike. Some of my customers have really nice sounding Harleys though and that is one thing that they have going for them.
If you can't afford to buy top of the line then don't hate on them. They're great bikes. No one wants to ride around on shaft drive, noisy uncomfortable piece of crap. I've had all of them and just bought a new street glide.

the electra glide isn't bad the others are ugly . I'd rather ride an old one. I have never liked the cheap look of the swept back saddle bags.
I never thought I would see a Harley look so much like a Gold Wing, that is just WRONG!
My Jap piece of crap runs great and I could put in a swimming pool with the money I saved.

They must take this into consideration.
