- The 2010 GMC Terrain SLT-1 has a slick-looking interior, but too many plastics feel cheap and hollow, and there are some misaligned and poorly finished panels. The dark color hides some panel gaps well, at least, and the overall ambiance is pleasant.
- The Terrain's front seats are spacious, well-shaped and comfortable.
- The Terrain's rear seat is mounted high off the floor and very well-shaped. It adjusts fore-aft, choosing between leg room and cargo room.
- Slide the Terrain's rear seat back eight inches for stretch-out leg space.
- The Terrain's cargo area looks huge in person, but the specs fall short of many smaller competitors. The rear seat folds easily but doesn't lie flat.
- All Terrains have a rearview camera. On most models, it's mounted on the rearview mirror and activates when you select reverse (the rest of the mirror functions normally -- only the low lighting makes it show so dark); it's on the dash on a larger screen if you spring for the optional navigation system.
