- The Honda Civic Si, like other Civics, has an unusual interior design. Although most plastics on the dash are hard, the interior's overall ambiance is better than in base Civics, thanks to high-quality cloth used liberally on most contact surfaces. There were no obvious assembly issues either.
- The Civic's interior reaches its ergonomic low point with the two-tiered gauge display that separates a digital speedometer from an analog tachometer. The layout seems to be the result of a creative but misguided attempt to break up the large expanse of dashboard caused by the car's steeply-raked roofline.
- Any car that's marketed as sporty should have seats at least as good as this Civic Si's, which are very well-bolstered without feeling confining. Leather seats aren't offered, but some will find the high-quality grippy cloth a suitable substitute.
- The Civic has a roomy and comfortable rear seat, but the cushion could be higher off the floor.
