Fairytale ending for teenager plagued with cystic acne

Everyone loves a happy ending, especially when it involves a relatable, down-trodden hero who eventually is able to overcome his obstacles. Young Steve Sciortino is the hero of this tale, and evil Acne his foe.

Three years ago when Steve was just 14, he was plagued by acne so bad that he became extremely shy, and started to withdraw from the activities and friends he used to happily be involved with. The condition of his skin worsened to the point where one morning, he woke up and flat-out refused to go to school. When he looked in the mirror, he didn't recognize himself anymore... and he was convinced no one else saw him either. All he could focus on-- and all he feared everyone else was focusing on-- was his out-of-control acne.

After unsuccessfully trying everything else, Steve's desperate father called Cosmopolitan Skin Care Solutions on the sad morning when Steve simply could not face going to school. His parents brought him in for a treatment that day, and he was so self-conscious and uncomfortable in his own skin that he was unable to make direct eye-contact with co-owner Naomi Fenlin, despite her gentle and motherly persona.

Throughout the course of the next few weeks, Steve underwent numerous Isolaz treatments in order to get his acne under control. As his skin begin to clear up, his confidence reappeared. The once shy, quiet kid was now cracking jokes, and hugging Naomi in greeting; his previous shell was slowly cracking open to let him enjoy his life again.

Once the acne was dealt with, Steve underwent multiple Fraxel treatments to remove remaining acne scars and redness. His skin today is spotless perfection, and despite the fact that he is outside playing sports all the time, you would never know that one pimple had ever marred his porcelain baby-face. After their journey together, Naomi and Steve mutually adore one another.

During their journey together, Naomi taught Steve (a dedicated athlete) tips and tricks to ensure he was treating his skin correctly during his real life activities. This advice-- including frequently change pillow cases, protect the face from the sun, wash the inside brim of any hat (baseball, in Steve's case) often worn-- is still adhered to, and helps Steve feel more confident that in the future, he himself can manage his skin too.

Despite it being a sensitive subject, when Steve was initially asked if he would go on television with Naomi and Dr. Adam Sobel (both of Cosmopolitan Skin Care Solutions) to discuss his acne history, he readily agreed. In his own words, "I would do anything for Naomi." Although his affection for Naomi is very clear from the bear hug he enveloped her in after taping, the real motive behind taping this segment was to spread the word to other acne sufferers who have tried every possible acne solution, and had every possible acne solutions fail:
