Labor Day weekend means different things in different places. In South Lake Tahoe, Labor Day can mean the final opportunity to get season pass deal from Heavenly Mountain Resort.
Heavenly says Monday, Sept. 6, will be the last day to purchase or renew a skiing and snowboarding pass. At the summer rate of $359, access to Lake Tahoe’s biggest mountain is available at a $140 savings off the $499 retail price. Teen, child and senior pass pricing is also available.
Heavenly is celebrating Labor Day by offering an extra incentive to prospective pass buyers. Those who purchase a Heavenly pass at the 24th annual Heavenly Sports Tent Sale at Heavenly’s California Lodge – where overstock of hard and soft goods will be available for as much as 70 percent off – will receive a $25 voucher to be used with any purchase of $250 or more. The voucher is only valid the day the pass is purchased and may not be combined with any other offer.
The hours for the tent sale are Sept. 4, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Monday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“With only 80 days remaining until we open, Labor Day is the perfect time to get everything you need for the upcoming ski and snowboard season. At $359, the Heavenly Pass is a virtual steal for Lake Tahoe’s premier destination resort,” said John Wagnon, Heavenly vice president of Marketing and Sales.
