Olympic alpine skier Bode Miller and freestyle skier Kristi Leskinen both advanced during Tuesday night's episode to reach the final show of "The Superstars" on ABC. The teams competed in watercraft relay, archery, and wall-climb events. Actor David Charvet and basketball player Lisa Leslie were the third team to reach the finals. Soccer player Brandi Chastain and singer Julio Iglesias Jr. were eliminated in the fifth episode in the six-show primetime series.

Taped at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the series airs on Tuesday evenings. Starting with eight two-person teams, the program pairs an athlete with a celebrity for various physical challenges such as swimming, biking, running and kayaking. Each week, one athlete-celebrity team is eliminated from the overall competition until three teams remain for the final show.

Paired with television personality Paige Hemmis, Miller avoided the elimination obstacle course with a bullseye in an additional archery competition.

Leskinen and her partner, professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, turned in another excellent performance by winning the watercraft relay and tying for first in the archery contest. The pair have won or tied for the lead in a show-best six separate events. The final show airs Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. EDT.
