Kate Hudson, Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara, Selena Gomez presenters at American Music Awards

ABC  and Disney will pulling out the stops to promote ABC and Disney shows and sitcoms this year. Julie Bowen and Sofia Veraga who star in ABC's hit freshman comedy "Modern Family" will be two of the presenters on The America Music Awards. Selena Gomez, who stars in Disney Channel's "The Wizards of Waverly Place" and Kate Hudson, star of Disney's upcoming movie musical "NINE" will also be on hand to tell music lovers who will be taking home trophies as America's favorite music artists. 

The “2009 American Music Awards” will be held on Sunday, November 22 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE. Artists will be honored in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin and Contemporary Inspirational. For the third year, winners are determined by online voting at amavote.com, the official voting location. Votes were collected from October 16 to November 13. For the first time ever, dick clark productions, inc. will stream a live pre-show on the red carpet for the “2009 American Music Awards” on November 22nd, 2009 at 3:00 PM (PT) / 6:00 PM (ET). The "Official AMA Pre-Show” presented by Coca-Cola, will feature hosts Julie Moran, Jenni Pulos, Jai Rodriguez and Taryn Southern as well as the "Coke Correspondent" winner of the ongoing national competition to become a red carpet correspondent at the 2009 AMAs.
