Hogle Zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe yesterday, July 30. The male was born in the yard to Kipenzi, a six year old, and Riley, also six.
Although small now, the baby will grow roughly an inch a day during its first week of life.
Hogle Zoo offers a Single Parent Membership for $60 a year, which admits one adult and all dependent children living with you. The membership allows you to enjoy the zoo year round, receive discounts on merchandise and train or carousel rides, and receive discounted admission to Zoo Lights.
