Single moms in the Bangor, Maine area have a wonderful opportunity this year. They can get together with another single mom (or a few more single moms) to share the cost of creating a fun Halloween party for their children.

Here are some tips to help you to create the perfect Halloween party:
- Small children do great with cute character themed parties, while teens will want a scary party.
- Decorate the yard and entry as a prelude to the party.
- Have children decorate their own jack-o'-lanterns.
- Let children make decorations.
- Have children help to prepare goodie bags and food for the party.
- Children can also create the invitations and a menu to send to guests.
- Teens can plan to have their friends involved with different stations geared toward the age of the people attending the party. For example: Dracula Wakes, Gypsy Road and the Witches Cottage.
- Great pin the ________ games for young children: Pin the Mouth on the Ghost, Pin the Tooth on Dracula and Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin. These can be homemade if necessary.
- Children love pinatas.
