Celebrities have been coming out in droves to support the relief effort in Haiti, which is nice to see considering how much money these people make. Scarlett Johansson, is no stranger to helping a good cause. The actress and budding songbird is known for her efforts to help the environment and her political support during the Obama campaign. The social activist has now extended her hand to the relief efforts in Haiti by designing a tote bag for Spanish fashion brand, Mango.
The Mango poster girl extended her star power to the cause by giving full proceeds to the Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. Affordably priced at $29.90, the black and white bag features an ancient map of Haiti along with a special message from SarJo herself, “Supporting the people of Haiti".
Johansson had this to say about her contribution to the cause, "I'm thrilled to be collaborating with Mango to promote conscious consumerism and to benefit Oxfam's Haiti Earthquake Response Fund,".
"By purchasing this bag, which I specially designed, you are helping to provide life saving assistance like clean water to the people of Haiti."
The bag will be available for purchase in Mango stores worldwide this March, and is a fashionable way to help support a country in great need.
