Christine Wallace is a Shamanic practitioner and she holds a Shamanic journeying circle once a month at her office in Fremont. She is a master at holding space for the people in the circle.

We introduce ourselves around the circle and say whatever comes into our hearts. So many similarities, synchronicities! Many of us nod our heads in agreement to something someone says, feeling it to be a reflection of what's going on in our own lives.

What is Shamanic journeying?
Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist in the Freud era, said "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."
Journeying is a technique that allows us to tap into what is inside us, for direction and insight, often in the form of metaphors or archetypes, pictures that our mind uses to communicate our deepest thoughts to us.
Traditional Shamanic cultures believe that the shaman actually travels beyond this world into one or more "non-ordinary realities". Western psychologists with a Shamanic influence believe that we all have these archetypal images in us from birth, and journeying allows us to meet them and discover their influence on our lives.
First-time journeyers and students often ask about their experience "Am I making this up?" I usually respond to that with "And who or what told your mind to come up with those specific images and stories?"
Journeying is an experience, one that almost everyone can have. Once you've gone there into yourself, life becomes redefined!
And there is no better space in which to experience yourself than one of Christine's circles!
