On the CBS Early Show, Adam Lambert's mother talked to the show's hosts, Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriquez.
She said she was "a little taken aback' by the reaction to Lambert's performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22. She said her son loved performing since he was a young child.
Lambert had performed the title song from his new album "For your Entertainment" at the AMA show. He told The Early Show that the song is "about picking up people, about being sexy." He added that each of the singles on his album reflect a different mood.
ABC's Good Morning America show canceled Lambert's scheduled appearance on Wednesday, November 25, as a result of the complaints about his performance on the American Music Awards show. Lambert kissed a male band-mate, pushed the head of another performer into his crotch, fondled a woman, and gave the audience the finger.
CBS quickly picked Lambert up. He appeared instead on CBS's The Early Show and the David Letterman Show.

Wow I love the look of the band and Adam. Where do they get their clothes? Adam Lambert needs to come up with a clothing line, jewlery, hair and make up and don't forget the shoes and boots. Very hot, very sexy. I loved the song "Whattaya Want From Me". I love his sense of humor too!
